To be eligible for the Deakin University Scholarships, applicants must:

    • For a doctoral degree: Completion of a research project equivalent to at least 25% of a year’s full-time study at Level 8 or 9 of the Australian Qualifications Framework with a grade equivalent to 70% or higher

    • For a master’s Degree: Completion of a research project equivalent to 25% of a year’s full-time study at Level 8 or 9 with a grade equivalent to 65% or higher

  • Enrollment: Must be enrolled or eligible to enroll in a Higher Degree by Research (HDR) program at Deakin University

  • Income: Must not receive income greater than 75% of the RTP or DUPRS stipend for supporting general living costs during the program

  • Full-time Study: Must be enrolled full-time and on-campus

  • English Proficiency: Must meet Deakin’s English language proficiency requirements.
